Macaroni Soup with Ham 火腿通粉

A classic Hong Kong breakfast - Macaroni Soup with Ham (火腿通粉) is usually served in "Cha Chaan Teng 茶餐廳"  an affordable restaurant for locals.   We usually call it Meal Combo A which has fried egg with toast, macaroni soup with ham, and then a cup of Hong Kong Milk Tea.   
傳統的香港茶餐廳早餐 - 火腿通粉。 茶餐廳文化在香港很普及,而且消費十分大眾化。 這款早餐香港人多數叫做"早餐A" (通常是早餐套餐的A款,跟煎蛋多士,火腿通粉,最後加杯港式熱奶茶)

Ingredients
  

  • Macaroni 通粉
  • Cooked Ham 熟火腿 (Sliced)
  • Creamy Chicken Canned Soup 忌廉雞湯

Instructions
 

  • Bring the water to boiling. Add the macaroni and cook until al dente
    水煮滾,加入通粉煮至八至九成熟
  • Disregard the boiling water, drain the cooked macaroni under cold tap water
    隔去熱水般,用凍水將通粉立即降溫 (啤凍水)
  • Drizzle with hot and keep aside
    拌入油粉,備用
  • In another pot with hot, then add 1 - 2 tablespoon of creamy chicken soup and bring to a boil
    鍋中煮開水,加入忌廉雞湯,加入適量鹽調味
  • then add the macaroni and cook for 2 mins.
    放入通粉快煮一至兩分鐘
  • put the cooked macaroni with soup on a plate, then sprinkle with cooked ham slices on top. Serve hot.
    將通粉連湯置於大碟內,加上火腿碎,趁熱享用。
